JIA Future Artists Award 2025では、国際的に活躍するアーティスト・イラストレーターが審査員を務めました。
ここでは、13-18歳部門 銀賞を受賞した
himari さんの作品に寄せられたコメントをご紹介します。
このアーティストは、アクリル絵の具という選んだ画材を自信をもって扱っていることがはっきりと伝わってきます。
鑑賞者の視線はまず人物へと導かれ、そこから宙に浮かぶおもちゃを追うように、葉の奥から差し込む光へと流れていきます。
その意味を完全に理解できたわけではありませんが、とても興味をそそられました。
This artist is evidently very confident painting in their chosen medium of acrylics. The viewer’s eye travels straight to the figure, then follows the floating toys to the radiating light behind the leaves. I’m not entirely sure what it means, but I’m intrigued!
Huang Hsi‑Yu さんの作品には、郷愁と陽だまりのような温かさが満ちています。
アクリル絵の具の温かみのある色調と、自信に満ちた筆致によって、物理的な風景だけでなく、感情の風景までもが描き出されています。
それは、絵の具によって形を与えられた、大切な記憶そのもののようです。
Huang Hsi-Yu’s work is infused with nostalgia and sunlight. The warm acrylic tones and confident brushstrokes evoke not only a physical landscape, but an emotional one—a cherished memory made tangible through paint.
アクリル画の技法がとても優れています。
南国のような背景と、懐かしさを感じさせる子供時代のモチーフの組み合わせが印象的で、とても魅力的です。
It has a good technique of acrylic painting. I like the mix of tropical background and nostalgic childhood objects.
