Amber Ma’s work has always focused on the paths and connections between reality and fantasy.
She believes fantasy is not just daydreaming or pure invention it comes from what we see in real life, what we have not yet seen, and even the feelings we cannot touch with our eyes.
With this in mind, she slowly brings the world of her imagination to life through her creations.
In her works, illustrations are not only something to look at, but also something to “read.”
Drawing is her way of writing, her way of telling stories.
She likes to turn the things she sees and feels in real life into unknown plants, lonely islands, or mysterious creatures in her pictures, building a world that feels dreamy yet is deeply rooted in real experiences.
Through these works, she hopes viewers can not only see the world she creates but also feel the different emotions hidden inside it.
