Artist's comments

I am working as an illustrator on Daiso's original trading card game,
"Mushi jingi" (currently available up to the 5th booster pack from November 2022 to January 2025).
For the 4th booster pack of this work, "Dawn of Innocence", I drew 14 insect card illustrations and 3 spell and strengthening card illustrations.
In addition to the competitive elements of a TCG, it is also widely loved as an illustrated book that allows players to learn more about insects through its real-life insects, attribute settings based on feeding habits, and faithfully depicted illustrations and explanatory text.
The illustration of "Silkworm", the rarest card in the booster pack and one of the highlights of this set, was also featured on the product packaging, which was a very happy experience for me as an illustrator.

ダイソーオリジナルTCG「蟲神器」(2022/11～2025/1現在、ブースターパック第5弾まで展開)にて、イラストレーターとして携わらせていただいています。
今作品のブースターパック第4弾「無垢の黎明」にて、虫カードイラスト14点 / 術・強化カードイラスト3点を描かせていただきました。
TCGとしての対戦要素は勿論の事、実在する虫を取り扱い、食性による属性設定や、忠実に描写されたイラスト・解説文などから虫に詳しくなれる図鑑としても、広く親しまれています。
ブースターパック内の最上級レアリティで今弾の目玉カードの1つである「カイコ」のイラストは、商品パッケージにも掲載頂き、イラストレーターとして大変嬉しい経験をさせていただきました。

昆虫をよく観察された精密で美しいイラストです。
ゲームとしてだけでなく、図鑑としての側面もある商品ということで、イラストがしっかり役割を果たしている点が素晴らしいです。
カードゲームならでは集める楽しさも感じられました。

The insects are beautifully and precisely illustrated, with careful observations.
The product is not only a game, but also an illustrated guide, so it's great that the illustrations play their role so well.
I also felt the fun of collecting, which is unique to card games.

虫という題材をここまで昇華させ一つの世界を作り上げたのは素晴らしいと思います。
植生や属性を考え描きわけ、それぞれのカード一枚一枚、個性があり魅力的に描くは大変な作業だと思います。

I think it's amazing how the artist has managed to elevate the theme of insects to such an extent and create a world of its own.
It must have been a lot of work to carefully consider and draw the vegetation and attributes, and to make each card unique and appealing.

個人的に虫は触れませんが、イラストはカッコイイに越したことはありません、昆虫の特異性を引き立たせる背景の演出が素敵です。
ゲームアニメよりカットされた様な疾走感溢れる「格好良い」作品だと思います。

Personally, I don't like insects, but the illustrations are cool, and the backgrounds are wonderful, highlighting the uniqueness of the insects.
I think this is a cool piece, full of a sense of speed, like something cut from a game anime.

カブトムシやクワガタなど、かっこいいと思える虫はたくさんいますね、日本には昔モスラという怪獣もいました。
それらの虫たちをカードゲームにして、戦わせるという発想は面白いですね。
かっこいいカードゲームになったと思います。

There are a lot of cool insects, like rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles, and in Japan there was even a monster called Mothra.
The idea of ​​making a card game featuring those insects and having them fight is interesting.
I think it's a cool card game.
