It is easier to fight for one's principles than to live up to them.
Just like me, there are lots of people who are facing the same pressure, whether they are freelancers or office workers, but many go unnoticed; people tend to care more for things they know about than the ones they don’t.
So my goal is to draw attention to this problem through images.
I used mostly pencil to create a black and white world, to isolated two different thoughts.
Each image shows the issues some people might have facing in their late twenties including me.
According to Alfred Adler if someone try to escape from the reality and meanings they would be very unfortunate.
They would isolate themselves from others and stay in their comfort zone.
This project is a complex layering of emotions, revealing the contradictions when facing the new things in the lives of the girl who never go outside, and how the outside world represents her inner desire, passion, dream and hope.
With public display of communication and connection, those images aim to explore our courage and desire for stepping out where they don’t want to be.
