風化の美を現出した古壁やアンティークな壁面の色彩や剥げ落ちたマチエールの魅力は言葉を無くす程です。
五感に直接訴えかけてくるようなメロディアスな作品だと思います。
油絵も同様ですが、伝統的日本画の世界でも多層に塗り重ねられた古色の風雅な趣にハッとさせられる程の衝撃を受けます。
色数を抑えてはいますが、発信力と訴求力はズバ抜けています。
朧げなタッチと柔らかな色調が、長閑な気持ちにさせてくれます。
年期の入った蔵出し作品を目のあたりにした時と同様の興奮を味わいました。
渋染めの如き奥ゆかしい背景に佇む少女と路傍の木や草。
