Mother Nature's calling, calling
Sending along her Forget-Me-Nots
with it comes a warning, warning
But when have warnings ever been enough?

 審査員評

Max's drawings captivate me and make me want to keep looking at them. I greatly admire the time and exceptional skill Max has invested in these works. The black-and-white compositions draw attention to the atmosphere and content, allowing the viewer to focus more deeply on what is being conveyed. The control of the brushstrokes is superb, and the composition of each piece perfectly enhances the mood and storytelling. Max's ability to create such compelling and detailed artwork is truly impressive and highlights his dedication to his craft.

The drawing texture imparts a unique feel to each world, particularly highlighting its enigmatic and labyrinthine features.

The composition, contrast, textures, and hatching lines all come together to create a powerful visual narrative. The storytelling is rich with emotion, making each piece resonate deeply with the viewer. It also makes the theme of "mother nature's calling and warning" more meaningful and powerful.

Impressive work of details. In the same texture produced by his shading technique, labyrinths appear and disappear, it is like creating an atomic vision of existence, where you can see its structure made of mystery. A good domain of distances, an exquisite mastery of grey and realism. I think Max has an enormous talent in landscapes and how he creates compositions with his characters, in works 4 and 5 it is very evident, and I feel that this same strength could have been applied to the perspective of work 1, because the floor has a perspective from the distance, but it is lost in the closeness on the bottom, generating a flat effect that produces an incongruity. I think he has great quality as an artist, and he has more than enough talent to not lose perspective, so his work will be enhanced even more by its impressive atmosphere.

My initial impression of this set of work is its exquisite texture and effective use of negative space. The compositions showcase a strong sense of design. I particularly appreciate the author's handwriting, which complements the drawing style consistently.
