Artist's comments

1. At the beginning of the Year of the Wood Dragon, I created this illustration celebrating the Chinese New Year.
2. How do we balance aspirations, concern, and independence? I am seeking answers while begging for and escaping from Mama’s love simultaneously.
3. In the process of my feminine consciousness awakening, I realized that the gaze and embellished frames entwined in my memories had long become traumas.
4. A visual expression for my personal experiences with auditory hallucinations.

Yueming's art brings such a peaceful feeling to me. I love the soft, comforting colors in the paintings. Each piece exudes a sense of tranquility and calm, inviting the viewer to relax and reflect. The gentle hues and subtle gradients create a soothing atmosphere that is both serene and welcoming. Yueming's skillful use of color and composition enhances the overall sense of harmony and balance in the artwork. This combination of peaceful themes and comforting colors makes Yueming's paintings truly emotionally uplifting.

Each image clearly conveys intriguing ideas through the use of visual elements like flowers, clouds, and mountains. The organic variation in shapes draws the audience into a world filled with curiosity and wonder.

Each piece is visually appealling with its vibrant colors and thoughtful themes. The symbols of eyes, snake, flowers and uterus represents deeper themes such as feminine consciousness. The illustration and its motifs are very well excuted.

A very neat style, both in the harmony and geometry of its compositions, as well as in the strokes and subtlety provoked by its solid colors. Elegant way of combining rigid and organic forms. Impeccable work of lights and flashes that enhance the symbolism, both in "wood dragon" and "mama", the light lifts the characters from the center, enhancing the deep or spiritual meaning of the pieces. "Like mist, like fog" explores a more Van Gogh style of painting, I think it is interesting to give that organic space to the expressions of hallucinations, but in relation to the style of the first works, it is noted that this last piece is more exploratory than forceful. I think he/she/x has more than enough talent to be inspired by his/her/x first style, which is beautiful and constituted, to refine and create more forcefulness in the second (pictorial) style.

The artist possesses a strong imagination to depict abstract concepts, and have a impressive ability in composition and the control of large-scale scenes.
