Finally, the truth came out and the thief was caught. This work adopts the painting style of traditional ink painting in China, and takes children to appreciate the charm of traditional painting art. 審査員評I love the traditional Chinese painting techniques the artist applied to the artwork here. The use of negative space leaves plenty of room for the audience to use their imaginations. The paintings tell the background stories really well, and the characters are vivid and full of life. The delicate brushwork and careful composition reflect the artist's deep understanding of classical methods, while the skillful use of empty space invites viewers to engage more deeply with the scenes. Van Li The style evokes a comic-like storytelling approach, with each character's facial expressions and actions vividly presented. The brush strokes are beautifully executed, adding to the overall appeal of the artwork. Haimeng Cao Yao's ability to illustrate unique characters is very impressive. Each character is full of charactristic and has unique expressions and gestures. The illustration of the Town God Temple story is a wonderful mix of traditional Chinese ink painting and storytelling. Rita Yuwei Li The looseness in his drawing is very valuable, very good use of his color palette and subtle shadows. Interesting combination of caricature and traditional Chinese art. I think that one thing to be careful about is the hand gestures, sometimes they work, and other times they are too deformed and diminish the quality of the work. I think that Yao has more than enough talent to ensure that his/her/x admirable looseness of drawing does not make him/her/x lose congruence in the details of the pieces. For example, in "Temple 2" the hands of the kneeling character are of low quality compared to the well-done face of the same character. Balancing the quality of those details could enrich and enhance his interesting style even more. Lucas León It can be seen that the artist is deeply influenced by Chinese ink wash painting and has innovated upon this foundation. The dynamics and expressions of the characters are vivid, and the narrative quality is also very strong. PINGNAN LU |
