審査員評Fairytale realism is an eternal classic! This style has a unique property—it gives faith in miracles. More precisely, in the fact that magic happens not only in fictional, fantasy worlds, but also in ours. Illustrations by Vitali Dudarenka are real works of art. They radiate warmth and combine talent, professionalism, enormous diligence, and observation. Such artists are so scarce in the modern world. Ekaterina Borodacheva I'm impressed by Vitalid's extraordinary drawing skills in these warm and harmonious children's book illustrations. He utilized strong compositions and clear visual guidance to immerse the audience in this fairytale animal world. The character designs are charming and full of life, each expressing personality and emotion. Overall, the series beautifully captures the wonder and innocence of childhood imagination. Max Liu The entire illustration is rendered with meticulous detail, giving the scene a strong sense of movement. The use of light and spatial composition effectively highlights the main subjects. The protagonist, Simon, is portrayed with particular vividness. Moon Q Vitali Dudarenka’s work draws on the visual language of classical painting, incorporating strong elements of realism and canonical composition. The painterly execution and attention to detail create images that feel both contemplative and dramatic. Tilted perspectives and animal figures introduce narrative motion within otherwise carefully constructed scenes. This approach results in a series that bridges traditional techniques with contemporary storytelling. Nadiia Zhelieznova The author's precise portrayal of animals, the extreme detail of the images, and the exquisite expression of the texture of different materials are marvellous. His delicate and elegant works, full of nostalgia, instantly bring the viewer back to the innocent childhood. In a culture dominated by fast food and technology, this delicate, hand-drawn art is like a clear stream, highlighting the artist's devotion to his craft. This perseverance is reminiscent of the artistic manifesto of the Victorian Pre-Raphaelites. In the context of contemporary art, should illustrators who love art also re-examine their own artistic pursuits and creative intentions? Yimin Wang |
