Judges' comments

We live in an age of rapidly developing technologies. Progress has reached such a speed that people have begun to feel anxious about the future of our planet and life on it. tony0101 in his illustrations reflects on the fact that it is possible to achieve harmony. Development should not be perceived as a threat. It is enough to show a reasonable, responsible approach, and science with its achievements will be able to bring great benefits to planet Earth and the creatures that inhabit it. Including us. I would like to note the aesthetics of the author's style, the beauty of shades, and the smoothness of forms.

I love the dynamic, curved flow of these paintings—feels like all the elements are linked by those wave-like lines, which makes the whole composition feel really harmonized. The control of color value and saturation is solid, and I really appreciate how the watercolor style is simulated digitally—it works well.
After reading the description, I get that the piece is trying to symbolize the harmony between tech and nature in the future, which explains the use of flowers and buildings. But I think the way this blend is handled right now could be more considered. Maybe take some inspiration from the Solarpunk aesthetic, or think about symbolizing the floral and architectural shapes more creatively. I feel like there’s potential to push it further than just placing flowers and buildings in the paintinghs.

The fusion of floral elements and technology effectively highlights the theme. The detailed depiction adds depth, and the main character is particularly eye-catching. The transition between warm and cool tones is smooth and well-handled.

In these intricate compositions, tony0101 combines feminine portraiture, botanical elements, and futuristic infrastructure to form a poetic visual narrative. The juxtaposition of delicate peonies and graceful female figures with satellites, rockets, bridges, and cities evokes a dialogue between nature, technology, and national identity. The swirling movement of hair and ribbons visually links all elements, reinforcing the sense of unity. The artworks appear to celebrate modern innovation while grounding it in tradition and beauty.

What distinguishes this series of works is the artist’s unique conceptual approach to the dynamic relationship between technological advancement, human progress, and ecological equilibrium—a relationship to which the artist responds with an affirmative vision. Through these paintings, the artist intertwines these themes with the evocation of a "deity" embodying "prosperity, development, harmony, and symbiosis," thus inviting viewers to contemplate a shared, optimistic future.
