Illustrations for the book "The Little Red Riding Hood" ISBN 978-5-9951-6149-3 Initially, I conceived the illustrations for this fairy tale as a personal creative project but in July 2024, the publishing house "Strecoza" (Moscow, Russia) became interested in my work.
I revised the illustrations for the book following the customer's wishes, and the job was completed by the end of August 2024.

本「赤ずきん」のイラスト ISBN 978-5-9951-6149-3 当初、私はこの童話のイラストを個人的な創作プロジェクトとして考えていましたが、2024 年 7 月に出版社「ストレコザ」(ロシア、モスクワ) が私の作品に興味を持ちました。
私は顧客の要望に従って本のイラストを修正し、2024 年 8 月末までに仕事を完了しました。

圧倒的な技術力が際立っていると同時に、店頭に並んでいたら手に取りたくなるような魅力を感じた作品です。
透明感のある美しい色使いのイラストが絵本の世界をしっかり引き立てていると思います。

This work is a display of overwhelming technical skill, and at the same time, it has the kind of appeal that would make you want to pick it up if it was on display in a store. The illustrations, with their beautiful, transparent colors, really bring out the world of the picture book.

最近あまり目にしなくなった、昔懐かしいイラストタッチになんとも言えないノスタルジーを感じ、目を離せなくなりました。
昭和の頃、まだイラストレーターと言うより子供用の童謡の挿絵画家と呼ばれていた時代に、こう言うタッチの絵を描く有名な挿絵画家さんがいて、私は彼の挿絵が入った本を数冊愛読していました。
児童書は目でしっかり状況、情景を理解させる部分と、絵と文章という情報を自分の中で想像力を培うものであるべきだと私は思います。このイラストタッチはまさにそれらの力があり、この作家さんの今後の仕事に期待をしたいと思います。

The old-fashioned illustration style, which we don't see much these days, gave me an indescribable sense of nostalgia and I couldn't take my eyes off it. During the Showa era, when people were still called illustrators of nursery rhymes rather than illustrators, there was a famous illustrator who drew pictures in this style, and I loved reading several books that contained his illustrations. I believe that children's books should help readers understand the situation and scene with their eyes, and cultivate their imagination with information in the form of pictures and text. This illustration style has exactly that power, and I look forward to seeing more of this author's future work.

最近あまり見なくなったような、手描きのイラストで、しっかりと描き込まれた素晴らしい作品です。
写実的な絵は時には少し冷たく感じることもありますが、手描きならではの暖かさを感じます。
絵に力があるので、子供達が一度手に取ったら何度も読み返したくなることでしょう。

This is a wonderful work with carefully drawn, hand-drawn illustrations, the kind of thing you don't see much these days.
Realistic pictures can sometimes feel a little cold, but this book has the warmth that only hand-drawn illustrations can have. The illustrations are powerful, so once children pick up this book, they'll want to read it over and over again.
