 審査員評

Illustration by Amber MA is a small fairy-tale world in which you want to get lost.
The author's imagination, sense of color, and details are truly amazing!
And the fact that the work is done by hand with traditional materials makes it even more alive and animated. It's as if the artist allows us to look into her dreams. Congratulations on your well deserved victory! What you do is truly wonderful!

This work presents a unique worldview. The depicted objects and overall color scheme create an imaginative and fantastical space. The night sky on the periphery is connected to the inner world in several places, sparking the viewer’s imagination.
Illustrator pays close attention to the selection of plants and the rendering of details, basing them on real-life species, which enhances the sense of realism and makes the scene feel immersive. Comparing the left and right sides of the illustration also reveals many subtle details.

Amber Ma’s work constructs a precise and symbolically rich visual world through the use of symmetry, ornamentation, and hand-drawn technique. In an age dominated by digital tools, her commitment to traditional media feels both deliberate and meaningful. The meticulous compositions reflect a confident narrative structure rooted in personal mythology and childhood memory. It’s a quiet yet assertive approach that rewards close viewing and highlights the artist’s ability to translate intricate inner logic into visual form.

The artist's neon-fluorescent colour scheme, combined with electromagnetic fluid-like dynamic texture, achieves a high degree of unity between visual expression and ideological core. The subtlety of the composition is unforgettable. Through the bstract visual language, the artist explores the concept of fetishism in modern society. I think this group of works is not only an aesthetic artifact and a conceptual carrier, but also an interactive field that can trigger the viewer's spiritual resonance - the gradient hues and flowing curves with a sense of granularity seem to be having a silent dialogue with everyone who stares at them.
