Mom is A Flower On The Ground is a warm fantasy picture book, telling a spiritual story about farewell, growth and maternal love. This book is based on the work Fox Boy which won Chen Bochui International Children's Literature Award in 2016, and Bingxin Children's Book Award.
This dreamy and touching story can not only bring readers a beautiful reading experience, but also contain more lessons. It tells us what is the true meaning of love: Love is not possession, but protection; Love is not taking, but giving; Love is not the definitive answer to all the problems in life, as long as the heart is there, love is there.
The illustration in this book is based on and beyond the story, with exquisite composition, touching colors and exquisite techniques, which well expresses and enhances the artistic appeal of the story. Both texts and illustrations are excellent, and together they made this excellent picture book.
